As Dumpling has an egg-allergy, I've become interested in egg-free and even vegan foods. I want to explore what it would be like to eat without eggs and not miss out on enjoying life. When my sister suggested we try Redemption (a vegan restaurant), I was definitely keen!
Redemption has a few branches in London including Covent Garden, Old Street and Notting Hill. We visited the Old Street branch.
The cafe was not exactly set up to cater for kids and babies. Although they did have a high chair, there wasn't much space for buggies and no baby change facilities. Having said that, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They helped me find some space to park my buggy and also gave us a larger table so that we could spread out a little.

We ordered the buckwheat pancake and creamy mushrooms. The food tasted as good as it looked. I always worry about still feeling hungry after eating vegan food. However I was surprisingly full and satisfied after my meal. Also the pancakes were so delicious that I didn't even think that I'd miss out because they were egg-free.
