In the summer I was organising a big lunch with 9 adults and 3 babies/toddlers. We agreed to meet near London Bridge as it was convenient for those on the Northern line and those on the Jubilee. After doing a fair bit of research on baby & kid-friendly restaurants (which ideally were not chains), I stumbled across Pique-Nique. I was immediately drawn to the fact it had a playground right outside the restaurant.

I was pleasantly surprised at the friendly efficient service. They reserved the largest table in the restaurant for us and all their high chairs. They were so accommodating with all our baby bits (buggies, mess and all).

The menu is French comfort food. We ordered the non-sharing plates, however got food envy when we saw the sharing plates. I ended up eating some of our friend's Sea Bass Wellington. I would definitely recommend to order that!! You can easily share that between 3-4 people and it tastes as good as it looks!

The playground (although not part of Pique-Nique), is right outside the restaurant and is the best thing ever! The parents played tag team to entertain the kids and to have some adult conversation with friends. Dumpling absolutely loved the swing!
